Nissan Xterra Performance

Talking about performance, Nissan Xterra has tight, even and enhanced feel in an effective way. Xterra
runs quietly on freeway speeds like all you'll hear is your own heart beating.
Nissan Xterra sways with breeze and bends in curves, not bad considering its height
and muscular shape. At slower velocity, Xterra is very active, running as if it
is lighter than it original weight.
Its steering performs well except for a minor lag from the on-center position
at faster pace. Xterra yields a very nice straight-line ride. The Nissan Xterra's
suspension handles bumps excellently. It performs equally nice on washboard gravel
roads. With the high center of gravity, you'll experience fewer sways in corners
than what is expected.
The four-speed automatic transmission smoothly moves up and down and the electronic
calibration can negotiate with hills. Xterra's four-wheel antilock brakes are
well-built and strong enough. But the rear will work much better if upgraded from
the recently used rear drums. The electronic force distribution boost Xterra's
firmness and helps in balancing brake force front to rear to decrease the stopping
distance.
