2004 Nissan Xterra
Nissan Xterra 2004 comes with a very ideal blend of style and technology. With
greater horsepower, you'll be driving it a lot more! Nissan Xterra is offered
for 2004 with an additional horsepower and a Dynamic Control Package. Aside from
this, Xterra comes for 2004 with some minor changes.
Xterra's functional and roomy interior is retained as well as its rugged and
handsome exterior. 2004 edition also carry Xterra's character of being a go-anywhere
and do-almost anything sport utility vehicle. The flying "V" grille, the round
headlights and fog lights and the lifted "power bulge" hood design was also maintained.
For this year, Nissan provides three engine models for Xterra - the 2.4-liter
4-cylinder engine that cranks out 143 horsepower, the 3.3-liter SOHC V6 that cranks
out 180-horsepower and the supercharged 3.3-liter engine generating 210 horsepower.
All Xterra 2004 models are offered with a standard front double-wishbone; the
rear suspension is through a leaf spring teamed with stabilizer bars and the power
steering is by recirculating ball. Also standard are 4-wheel Anti-Lock Braking
System (ABS) with Electronic Force Distribution (EBD).
Included in this year's Dynamic Control Package are Tire Pressure Monitor System
and Vehicle Dynamic
Control (VDC) mate with Traction Control System that boost Xterras strength in
different road condition.
2004 Nissan Xterra's interior sports functionality. It features large console
map with pocket, metal ceiling tie-down clips, interior bike rack and sunroof,
four interior power ports and roof headliner net and luggage side net.
The three-gauge cockpit-style instrument cluster is also retained as well as
the first aid kit. Another functional amenity in Xterra's interior is the 12-volt
outlets found in the engine compartment.
To ensure the safety of both drivers and the passengers, standard safety is available
for 2004 Xterra. These include driver and passenger dual-stage front supplemental
airbags with seat belt sensors. Also standard are LATCH (Lower Anchors for Children),
child safety rear door locks and power window lock down button.
