2002 Nissan Xterra

The 2002 Nissan Xterra has tons of refinements for this year. It comes with a new raised hood and a power bulge to provide a room for its supercharged engine. It is also offered with recently-designed round headlights and a new front fascia. These enhancements provide Xterra a more rugged and muscular appearance, making it visually distinct! Also, Xterra essentially receive a new front clip for this year.

Making the 2002 Xterra looks more rugged are its bigger tires. The Xterra SE receives a standard 265/70R16 tires on alloy wheels while the supercharged version has 17-inch alloys with 265/65R17 BF Goodrich off-road tires. Also enhancing its rugged image is a thick tubular aluminum roof rack that comes with black airfoil; balanced with step rails; plump fender flares and ruggedly striking alloy wheels.

It also comes with a muscular grille and front bumper with large radiator vents and halogen fog lights placed in low level. The rear doors of 2002 Xterra have vertical handles on the trailing edge. It also has a two-tiered roof  with a tall square back and a bulge on a tailgate where you can place your first aid kit. Under the vehicle, you'll find skid plates under the engine and fuel tank! Another nice touch is the removable plastic gear basket in front of the rack.

In the inside the 2002 Xterra's instrument panel comes anew with a three-gauge instrument cluster in a cockpit-style. It also has a new console equipped with map pocket, power ports and push-out cup holders. The controls for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning are also new! The pull-and-twist parking brake has been replaced by a pedal-system that is foot-operated.
